No other server has the density, processing performance, tolerance to dust and heat, and the rich set of standard features that are integrated into the MaxCube.

Designed for service, the MaxCube can be accessed and serviced with minimal tools, with no tools needed for most tasks.

MaxVision’s HDPac removable hard drive magazines are available in 8, 4 and 2 drive configurations. The 2 and 4 drive configurations can be mixed and matched in the removable drive backplane. This allows for one 8 drive HDPac magazine, two 4 drive HDPac magazines, four 2 drive HDPac magazines or a mix of two 2 drive and one 4 drive magazines, allowing the maximum flexibility in managing your high performance, high capacity RAID storage requirements. The 3Ware 9650 series of RAID controllers provides the highest performance, maximum flexibility SATA RAID processing available. The entire unit can fit into a single waterproof transit roller case that can be pulled effortlessly using the attached handle. It can be shipped as checked luggage or sent via express courier such as FEDEX.

Suitable for both military and commercial use, the applications vary from military servers, network attached storage, and workstations with detached displays. Commercial applications include Digital Disk Recorders for HD video and cinematography applications and simulations.

The MaxCube’s small size and flexible power with internal UPS makes it an ideal platform for massive parallel computing applications. Because the volume and size is so small, 9 MaxCubes can be stacked into little more than 1 meter of desk top and take as little as 1/3 of a cubic meter of volume. Maximum weight per cube is 45 pounds and easily managed by one person.
