Every X class product uses MaxVision's patented 'desert proven' air filtration system, patented box-in-box shock isolation chassis and unqiue airflow designs to support operating in 0 - 50° C temperature range. Our patented power subsystem supports the widest range of AC power and conditions and provides an optional UPS that eliminates abrupt power outages and handles dirty power from generators.

The X Class Family has grown and now comes in 3 varieties: The Original 8230X with Dual Quad Core Intel Xeon 54xx Series processors and 20.1" LCDs, The New 8241X with Dual Quad Core Intel Xeon 55xx processors (with Nahalem Technology) and 20.1" LCDs, and last but certainly not least The 8242X (Nickname: "Stretched X") with Dual Quad Core Intel Xeon 55xx processors (with Nahalem Technology) and 22" WSXGA+ LCDs. |

The MaxPac 8230X supports 90 - 264 VAC, 50/60Hz and 115 VAC @ 400Hz. All models have an option for an integrated Uninterruptible Power System including internal batteries which can continue to operate the entire system without external power for over 10 minutes. The UPS also ensures continued operation in the presence of dirty power and brown out conditions.
