MaxCube Family
No other server on the market can boast the rich set of standard features, processing power; and tolerance to dirt, dust, debris, and heat; all tightly integrated into a small space. Compared to a typical system that requires a 3U server chassis, 2U RAID chassis, 2U UPS, 2U slide-up display and keyboard, the MaxCube® has more than a 4x advantage in physical size and weight alone when compared to rackmount components. Furthermore, the
basic MaxCube® weighs in at a little more than 40 pounds; thereby, making it easily manageable for one person.
The MaxCube® 8270 represents the ultimate in rugged compact state-of-the-art virtual machine servers. With dual Scalable Xeon® processors, each with up to 22 cores, the MaxCube® 8270 can support up to 44 processor cores and 88 threads of execution. Typically configured with the latest in RAID controllers supporting RAID 1, 5, 6, or 10, there is plenty of high-reliability storage with streaming bandwidth in excess of 1.5GB/sec and superior IOPs. Mirrored SSD system drives provide excellent latency and read/write performance. Eight 3.5” HDDs, up to 16TB each, provide up to 128TB of removable data storage with the necessary bandwidth for most any data capture job. It can be configured as a single 8-drive removable magazine, two 4-drive magazines, or four mirrored pairs.

Eight removable HDD drives in magazines in groups of 8, 4, or 2 drives per magazine. Each drive can be up to 16TB.
H/W Raid Controller
H/W RAID MegaRAID 9460 controller is a standard feature of workstations and servers with large data arrays of 4 drives or more. It also supports FIPS 140-2 drives.
Optional NetPac
NetPac is an optional network switch module connected to the base of the MaxCube and supports a variety of commercial managed network switches from Cisco and other vendors. This provides a single package complete server system in the same transit case.
