MiniRax Family
The MiniRax8100 family can be configured with four different Skylake Xeon-D processor motherboards supporting 4C/8T, 8C/16T, 12C/24T or 16C/32T processors with up to 512GB of ECC DDR4 memory. Two PCIe 9.5” long cards support your choice of nVidia graphics such as RTX4000 or P2200 cards, RAID controllers and more. The two rear removable NVME system SSDs are separate from the front removable data drive magazine which can support up to 61.44TB of storage using two 15mm SAS SSD drives or 30.72TB using four 7mm SATA SSD drives.
Four GbE RJ45, two 10GbE RJ45, and two 10GbE SFP+ optical ports are standard along with IPMI and TPS2.0 support. There two UPS2.0 and two UPS3.0 ports accessible.
Perhaps the most interesting feature is its compact size which fits into a Pelican 1495 briefcase, or if the optional 18.5" single display and keyboard is added, rollaboard TSA baggage which travels in the aircraft overhead.
There is also optional support for battery backup. With this feature, the entire machine can be run with a provided battery pack using standard BB2590 military battery lasting between 1-2+ hours. As an alternative to Global AC power, external 18-36VDC from military vehicle power may be used. Both external AC and DC power sources are protected by the battery-powered back-up system. Both AC and DC power can be used to recharge the battery, even if the computer is not running, but merely connected to these sources.
