Warranty, Service & Returns
Telephone and email support is available to you as long as you own our products and you are registered in our system. If you are not registered as a Point of Contact, don’t be concerned, we can establish this on the phone call or email. Just make sure to have your address, phone, email info ready.

To better care for you, we need the serial number of the device. This begins with MV000... From this we can trace and identify all components used in your system, tell if the product is still in warranty, and provide you estimates and quotations for repairs. Please have the serial number ready on your first phone call or email for support.
Warranty
Systems come with a one year parts and labor warranty. You may purchase additional years at the time of sale up to five years.
MaxVision, Rugged Portable Computers will provide phone and email support for as long as the original purchaser owns out product.
If you have a failure during the warranty period, we will replace or repair any defective parts at our repair depot free of charge, or if practical and all parties agree, we will ship your replacement parts and provide instructions to expedite repairs.
Unless otherwise negotiated, the customer is responsible for shipping cost to the repair depot and MaxVision, Rugged Portable will provide return shipment to your location for in warranty repairs.
Abuse is not covered if damage is caused by not shipping the product in the provided transit case, or if the unit is dropped outside the transit case, or damage is caused by foreign objects not designed to fit in the transit case or incorrect packed in the transit case. MaxPac, MaxCube, MaxRax and MiniRax products are NOT designed for use in the rain, or excessively humid environments. Water damage is also not covered under this warranty. Broken or bruised display screens caused by being struck are also not covered.
None warranty repairs are performed at a labor rate of 100 US$ per hour (2 hour minimum) parts consumed and return freight.
All non-warranty work is guaranteed for 90 days after shipment back to you.
Returns
IMPORTANT: Please backup all data before sending your system or components to MaxVision, Rugged Portable Computers LLC.®.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call Toll Free at (800) 533-5805 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping your product. NO returns of any type will be accepted without an RMA number. RMA numbers are valid for 10 business days after issue and must be received within 30 days from the date of the RMA. Any returns will be refunded the lower of either the purchase price or current product price.
- For fastest service, please have the following information on hand when calling or emailing for an RMA number:
- Customer Name
- Item number
- Serial Number (located on the packing slip as well as on the part/component and begins with "MV000...")
- Nature of the Problem
Your RMA number(s) must appear clearly on the shipping label on the outside of the return shipment.
Returns must be 100% complete, in original and resalable condition, with all original boxes and packing materials, have original UPC codes on the manufacturer boxes, contain all manuals, registration card(s), software, cabling and accessories. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any product that does not meet these requirements.
The Customer is responsible for shipping charges on all returned items for returns after the first 90 days
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. All authorized returns must include a shipment tracking number. Subsequent to an approval authorization, a credit to an account or issuance of a check may take up to 30 days.
MaxVision, Rugged Portable Computers LLC.® strongly recommends that you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged and use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery for your protection.
